Victoria Power is originally from Freehold, New Jersey. After graduating from Freehold Borough High School, Mrs. Power went on to attend The College of New Jersey, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Music. After graduating, she taught for many years at a private school. Over the past several years, she has remained active in education through the homeschooling of her two daughters, one of whom is autistic. Mrs. Power is looking forward to being a part of the talented and caring staff here at Ocean Academy Charter School.

1st Grade

Rachel Ryman grew up in Houston, Texas. She received her Master of Arts in teaching from The College of New Jersey. Before teaching, she worked in the business industry but always knew she was meant for teaching. Loving school as a little girl, she always played "the teacher" with her sisters during childhood. Fast forward some years and she could not be happier as she enjoys working at Ocean Academy. She adores her first grade students and loves seeing their bright smiles as they walk into the classroom. Being a teacher is a true gift since children inspire her own passion for lifelong learning. She would like to thank each family for allowing her to be a part of your child's educational journey!

She has taught fourth grade as well as computers and will now be teaching first grade at OACS. She shares that she is so excited to see your children every day and to be an influence on their lives. It is her hope that they will grow to love learning and have fun while doing so!
